We love the dynamic between original and renovation in this update of an 18th century Connecticut long house, from the NYC firm O’Neill Rose. Working in tune with the landscape, the designers brought a definitive sense of lightness to the structure, orienting the porch toward the adjacent lake. The playful interior, with a spacious kitchen and colorful mud room, speaks to the homeowners’ goal of bringing family together for the summer. Got us thinking about summer! Find more at Remodelista.
